really big day tomorrow. i could definitely use prayers for me to remain sharp and be on my game. i'll fill everyone in later, but as of now, i think the simple prayer request will do.

other than that...nothing too crazy today. work is pooping on my lap right now as farmer jacks picked up the juice today and i've received two emergency store visit calls the past two days...but hey it's worth it. we now have some beautiful displays...that's right folks, i called a juice display beautiful. have a great night...i'm going to keep working. peace out.

Why Should the Fire Die?

ahhhh...what a day...i'm ready to call it a night

but anyway...the chant "go lions...and take the tigers with you" keeps running through my head. i'm pretty sure every problem in detroit is because joey harrington lives here. if someone spills a glass a water...joey's fault...someone trips down the stairs...that's right, it's joey's fault. i'm starting to think that this city is depressed from all this losing and they've officially found their scapegoat.

congratulations detroit...you lose again because it's not his fault

All that talking about the book inspired me to read...ok, maybe that's a stretch. Just another day of juicing and getting ready for GR this weekend!

Tonight was the first time in a long time where I really felt like I wanted to move to chicago. I guess sitting around in a city where I don't know anyone is kinda getting old. I'm looking forward to coming home at night and seeing somebody, or being able to meet up with some friends/family. I'm also getting sick of eating out, eating boxed/pre-made/frozen meals. I've found myself not even craving food at times when I know I'm hungry.

If you're ever feeling like you want to get away from things, be careful what you wish for. Solitude is great for a while...been then it's like a lack of noise becomes noisy. A great example of this can be found in the book A River Why? The main character graduates and immediately moves out to the mountains to fish his life away. Before he knows it all he is hearing in his head is the sound of water. He closes his eyes...water. He covers his head with his pillow...water. I guess the only difference is the fact that all I'm hearing is the lack of noise...the lack of someone to even sit next to and not even talk. I think God's trying to turn me into an intravert...yeah well.

In honor of Dete...here's MY question of the day:
Why do we park in the drive way, and drive on the park way?

What's up with the porn star stache? Look at the big time athletes sporting them these days...

Jake Plummer of the Denver Broncos
     (aka Dan Fouts)

Adam Morrison of the Gonzaga Men's Basketball Team
(I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt hoping he left his razor in Washington
before the team left for Hawaii)

I'm starting a petition hoping Deters will try it out next season in hopes of jumping straight to the bigs...I can see it now...C.C., Dirty Stache Deters, and Scott Elarton...look out MLB
